The number of people in the team varies depending on the season:
Each hub has specific assignments:
The preparation hub:
After validation of our offer by the client, the preparer manager calculates, estimates and analyses the purchase needs and prepares manufacturing and/or production requests.
The mobile installers and upholsterers:
They travel directly to the assembly locations. Depending on the project, they are responsible for decorating the sites, installing reception canopies, assembling stands, podiums for catwalk shows or conventions, preparing reception areas.
Each team appointed on site comprises a site manager and upholsterers/installers.
The administrative hub:
This is responsible for planning human resources, vehicles and ensuring day to day logistics and events abroad.
The mobile installers and upholsterers are mainly equipped with staplers, screwdrivers, jigsaws, circular saws, hammers, pliers, and obviously the traditional upholsterer’s satchel. Also added to this is access equipment such as ladders, step ladders, cradles and of course safety equipment such as harnesses, helmets, hi-viz gilets, knee pads, cut resistant gloves and safety shoes.
Members of the team are authorised to drive the cradles and lifting equipment and to work at height.
Three heavy goods vehicles, two 20 m3, three Renault masters and 2 Renault trafics comprise the Options Décoration fleet.
This adventure required the chartering of two cargo planes, a ferry to reach the island from the mainland, 12 lorries to cross tropical forests on barely driveable tracks.
Before arriving at the event site, a wedding anniversary, 5 days of transit were required, with 25 people to load and unload the equipment between each of the stages and 10 days of assembly by 15 fitters and upholsterer/decorators.
All of the Oriental decor was purchased in Morocco and then forwarded in containers.
