About the project
Originally created to increase awareness of waiters as a profession in Paris, in recent years the race has been held in major cities around the world. The concept? Equipped with a tray balancing various receptacles: bottles, glasses, jugs, each participant has to finish the race as fast as possible, trying to spill as little liquid as possible. For every centilitre lost, penalties are deducted from their score.
The objective of Options Décoration was to design 9 circuits, on which the Parisian waiters of Belleville, Faubourg St Denis, Oberkampf and Charonne area would compete
Our teams specially designed wooden obstacles, painted in the colours of the event.
A stage was also mounted with a podium and a custom-made backdrop.
